Beautiful St Michael Archangel Icon from the 14th century is from the Athens Byzantine Museum. Byzantine Icon depicts St Michael, the captain and leader of the whole angelic host. From the earliest times, Christians have turned to St Michael for help in struggles of all kinds, especially for help in passing from this earthly life to the Eternal life.
